Although new to the United States, the Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy has three locations abroad, in the U.K., Germany and the Netherlands. Our U.K. location was launched in 2009 and since then 4,500 students have enrolled in the program. Those who participated in the program had a first-time license test pass rate of 79 percent - nearly double the U.K. national average of 43 percent.
The program being introduced in the United States combines the insights and key elements of the U.K., Germany and Netherlands curricula with California Department of Motor Vehicles requirements to deliver an integrated program that will have the same positive impact on California drivers as our programs abroad.
